CREATIVE WRITING

Self-Expression

Everyone at The Group School (TGS) — students and staff alike — were encouraged to share their writing, not only in class but also in creative writing magazines and yearbooks that were eagerly anticipated. For many students, this was the first time that something they had written would be published and read by other students, teachers, parents, and community members. Reading other writers, responding to prompts and to one another’s efforts, students discovered a love of expressing themselves via the written word.
